Instead of using an airbrush to shade, try using a pen, because airbrush shadings work better on realistic drawings! Also Instead of using darker colors within that same hue will tend to suck the life out of character so try and use some simple cell shading. I have 52 characters left so I'll just copy and paste random stuff lmao sorry!
